I'm still feeling a little bit off today. I slept alright, but woke up with a stiff neck and a sore shoulder. Then I was sleepy all morning. Add my customary winter allergy sneeze fits... well, it wasn't pretty.

Progress is still progress. Being sick can be a strange blessing.

Walking through Target's kitchen section today reminded me of what it was like walking through Staples or Office Depot during the back to school sales. Maybe I subconsciously need to cook more often. After last night, I think I'm finally up to it again.

Sign seen on a sod (grass) truck on the 71 freeway: "Instant Grassification." My mom laughed at that. She surprises me like that. And we spent half an hour looking for salad spinners.
